For some reason, I have always loved to photograph doors. So, it only made sense that I would paint some of the doors that I have photographed. This painting is based on a door I photographed in Italy while on vacation with my late husband. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, my 51st birthday, and receiving my doctorate. In this painting, you can see the colorful celebration happening inside.
